In May, Elee Hampton, the founder of Quarantine Cookie, found herself sitting in front of her tiny, doll-house sized oven in her apartment in East Harlem. Slumped over, she glared at it. Her face was beet-red as tears trickled down, each one exploding with anger as they hit the ground below her.
